SKILL 01 :: 修飾語的功能
定義
修飾語（Modifier）：補充說明句子中的動作或狀態
回答的問題
何時（When）· 何地（Where）· 如何（How）
特性
修飾語不是句子的必要元素，但讓句子更精確。移除修飾語，句子仍然正確，但資訊減少。
範例對比
She sings.（骨架，正確但資訊少）
She sings beautifully in the shower every morning.（加入方式＋地點＋時間）

SKILL 02 :: 時間副詞（When）
功能
說明動作發生的時間，回答「何時？」
單字形式
yesterday, today, tomorrow, now, soon, already, still, always, usually, often, sometimes, never
片語形式
last week, next Monday, in the morning, at night, on Sunday, three days ago, every evening
SKILL 03 :: 地點副詞與介系詞片語（Where）
功能
說明動作發生的地點，回答「在哪裡？」
組成
介系詞 ＋ 地點名詞 = 介系詞片語
常用介系詞
in, at, on, under, near, behind, in front of, next to, between

SKILL 04 :: 方式副詞（How）
功能
說明動作進行的方式或程度，回答「如何？」
構成規則
大多由形容詞加 -ly 構成：quick → quickly, careful → carefully
常見方式副詞
quickly, carefully, quietly, happily, loudly, hard, well, fast
特別注意
fast 和 hard 的副詞和形容詞形式相同，不加 -ly
good 的副詞是 well（不是 goodly）
good 的副詞是 well（不是 goodly）
SKILL 05 :: 修飾語的位置規則
一般順序
動詞 ＋ 方式 ＋ 地點 ＋ 時間
時間副詞
通常放句尾，也可放句首（句首需加逗號）
She studied hard yesterday.

地點副詞
通常放句尾，在時間副詞前面
She studied in the library yesterday.

方式副詞
通常緊接在動詞後面或句尾

重點：時間副詞放句首後面要加逗號。地點副詞（at the library）留在句尾不動。

這一課最容易犯的三個錯誤：
雷區一 :: 副詞位置放錯
✗ 錯誤
She yesterday went to school.（時間副詞插在主詞和動詞之間）

時間副詞放句尾或句首（句首要加逗號），不放主詞和動詞中間
雷區二 :: good 和 well 混淆
✗ 錯誤
She sings good.（good 是形容詞，不能修飾動詞）

She sings well.（well 是 good 的副詞形式）

修飾動詞用副詞，修飾名詞用形容詞；good 的副詞是 well，沒有 goodly 這個字
雷區三 :: hard 和 hardly 意思相反
hard（副詞）
努力地 → He works hard.（他努力工作）
hardly（副詞）
幾乎不 → He hardly works.（他幾乎不工作）
補救
記住「hardly = 幾乎不」，需要「努力地」就用 hard；兩者意思完全相反，不能混用
