連接詞把獨立的句子串連成有邏輯的段落，讓讀者知道事件的先後順序或關係

放句首，後面加逗號

SKILL 03 :: 用 because 和 so 表達因果
because（引導原因）
放在結果後面，前面不加逗號
I was late because I missed the bus.

放在原因後面，前面加逗號

記憶方式
because = 因為（說原因），不打斷句子所以無逗號
so = 所以（換一個方向），轉折前要停頓所以加逗號

SKILL 04 :: 段落的基本結構
主題句（Topic sentence）
說明這段的主旨，通常是段落第一句
例：Yesterday was a busy day for me.

支持句（Supporting sentences）
提供細節和描述（修飾語大量使用的地方）

SKILL 05 :: 時態一致性
規則
同一段落不要隨意切換時態
描述過去的事
→ 整段用過去式（was, went, ate, studied...）
描述習慣或現在
→ 整段用現在式（is, go, eat, study...）
