定義
答案只有 Yes 或 No 的問句
形成方式
助動詞或 be 動詞移到主詞前面(倒裝)
陳述句:She is happy.
問句:Is she happy?(be 動詞移到句首)
句尾
問句用問號(?),語調上揚
SKILL 02 :: be 動詞問句(現在式)
結構
Be動詞 + 主詞 + 其他?
現在式 be 動詞
am、is、are
He is a teacher. → Is he a teacher?
They are happy. → Are they happy?
She is at home. → Is she at home?
注意
am 問句(I am...)實際上很少用,通常改問 Are you...?
SKILL 03 :: be 動詞問句(過去式)
結構
Was/Were + 主詞 + 其他?
過去式 be 動詞
was(I / he / she / it)、were(you / we / they)
He was tired. → Was he tired?
They were at school. → Were they at school?
SKILL 04 :: Do/Does/Did 問句(一般動詞)
結構
Do/Does/Did + 主詞 + 動詞原形 + 其他?
助動詞選擇
現在式 I/You/We/They → Do
現在式 He/She/It → Does
過去式 所有人稱 → Did
關鍵規則
問句中動詞必須用原形(不加 s 或 ed)
She likes music. → Does she like music?(like,不是 likes)
They played basketball. → Did they play basketball?(play,不是 played)
You go to school. → Do you go to school?
SKILL 05 :: 短答(Short Answers)
規則
Yes/No 問句不能只回答 Yes 或 No,需加上主詞和對應的助動詞/be 動詞
格式
Yes, 主詞 + 助動詞/be動詞.
No, 主詞 + 助動詞/be動詞 + not.(可縮寫)
Is she a teacher? → Yes, she is. / No, she isn't.
Do you like pizza? → Yes, I do. / No, I don't.
Did they finish? → Yes, they did. / No, they didn't.
注意
短答中的主詞改用代名詞,不重複原句的名詞

演練二 :: Do/Does/Did 問句形成

句一:She studies English every day.

主詞:She(第三人稱單數)→ 用 Does
動詞:studies → 改回原形 study

Does she study English every day?

句二:They finished the project last night.

過去式 → 用 Did
動詞:finished → 改回原形 finish

Is Roy a seventh grader?

Yes, he is.  /  No, he isn't.

這一課最容易錯的四個地方,做題前先看一遍:

雷區一|Does 問句動詞忘記改原形
錯誤:Does she likes ice cream?
正確:Does she like ice cream?(like,原形)
補救:Does/Did 出現時,動詞一律用原形,因為助動詞已經承擔了時態
雷區二|Did 問句動詞用過去式
錯誤:Did they went to the park?
正確:Did they go to the park?(go,原形)
補救:Did 已經表達過去,動詞不需要再加 ed 或用不規則過去式
雷區三|短答中主詞格式錯誤
錯誤:Is Roy a student? → Yes, Roy is.(重複用名詞)
